Williams, Zvonareva into final
Venus Williams booked her place in yet another Wimbledon final on Thursday with a dominant performance against Petra Kvitova, winning 7-6, 6-2. There she will meet Vera Zvonareva, who stopped the fairytale run of Tsvetana Pironkova in a hard-fought 3-6, 6-3, 6-2 win on centre court. Williams said she was looking forward to Saturday’s match, and was wary of her opponent’s form and abilities. "On paper it looks like I should win. But Vera, I´ve played her several times, she´s beaten some good people. Her last two matches she´s been down a set, so she´s obviously a fighter. She never gives up. I´ve been in this situation before where I did put pressure on myself and actually ended up losing. I learned from that hopefully. Win, lose or draw, I´m happy to have gotten this far."
